Pert History
Pert Estate was bought
in 1912 by Mr David Milne. The Estate comprises of Pert Farm, various
Crofts/Small Holdings, a Smithy and the fishings on the North Esk river
The
Farm, now run as one unit, and Fishings have been handed down through
four generations of our family.

caught the fish.
In
2006 by popular demand, Pert Fishings Ltd were made available to all
keen anglers after many years of only being fished by family and
friends
Since
opening to the public many improvements have been made to the beat. A
new fishing lodge was built in march 2007, fully equiped with toilet,
heating, kitchen and large seating area where fishers can exchange
stories and take in the views of the Bridges Pools and the old North
Water Bridge.
